Spanning a generous 1,842 square feet, this 1.5-storey cottage offers ample space for your family and guests. With 3+1 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, you’ll have all the room you need to create lasting memories.
The large loft area is perfect for overflow sleeping, ensuring everyone has a comfortable place to rest after a day of island adventures. We understand the importance of maximizing living space, which is why we eliminated the utility room. In a three-season building like this, HVAC systems aren’t required by building code, making the extra living space a valuable addition.
A Unique Foundation System
One of the standout features of this cottage is its innovative post and beam foundation system. Unlike traditional cottages that rely heavily on concrete, we’ve minimized concrete usage. Poured concrete is limited to footing areas, mainly because mixing it on-site in wheelbarrows can be quite a hassle. The rest of the foundation utilizes prefabricated concrete pier blocks, providing sturdy support for a wood-framed subfloor.
