Last month we talked about a new hunt camp on Manitoulin Island on our list of 2019 projects. We are also gearing up for a 2019 summer build in beautiful Nova Scotia.
This custom log home will cover just over 7500 ft.², making it one of the largest homes to be built by Kealey Tackaberry Log Homes.
The home’s location is the beautiful White Point Estates in southwestern Nova Scotia. We have been told that this “neck of the woods” has beaches as beautiful as any in Florida and the Caribbean come summertime. We can’t wait to check it out — in the evenings or on the weekends of course!
In order to make the log size proportionate for a home of this scale we have increased the size of our typical 10 to 12 inch milled profile to an impressive 13 inches. Our signature milled logs will feature, as usual, no butt joints and solid log gables. The end result will be stunning.
There is simply no question that this will be a tremendous showcase home and we can’t wait to share some pictures of the site and the build once it’s underway later this summer!
